Damiah Bosden-Wigfall, 26, died in a fiery crash on Friday, July 23, just after 2 a.m. in Avon, when her 2015 Hyundai slammed into a dump truck and burst into flames, Massachusetts State Police said.
A 27-year-old woman from Randolph was able to climb out of the car. Paramedics took her to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officers did not release any updated information on her condition.
The driver of the dump truck, a 67-year-old man from Lunenburg, was not injured in the wreck.
A 58-year-old man from Salisbury died on Sunday, July 24, just before noon, when his 2013 Ford Focus went off the left side of Route 495 in Andover and rolled over the median, authorities said. Officers aren't sure what caused him to crash.
Witnesses that saw the crash jumped out of their cars to help the man, who authorities did not name. Several of them were performing CPR on him when police arrived.
Paramedics rushed him to Lawrence General Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. Officials did not release the man's name.
